A Belfast School dedicated to creating a New Generation of Musicians in Northern Ireland
Mick Ferguson Musician and Teacher
For years, I wanted to offer affordable lessons in our home town of Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland, a chance I did not have as a kid and many of us wished we did. I have been so lucky to have music in my life, touring around Ireland and around the world, playing and writing new music, while recording new songs on guitar, banjo and mandolin and performing them on radio stations. Upon returning home, so much has changed about Belfast and ourselves at Belfast Dreams School of Music want to be a part of this future by giving both adults and children the same chance I had to succeed in music. This school was created to help others who want to make music a hobby or career or something in between, it's the student's choice. Our goal is to offer music lessons in Guitar, Mandolin, Singing, Banjo (four and five string) and Ukulele in a central location within the metro area, accessible from Bangor to Lisburn to Glengormley. Honestly, many people come from as far as Portaferry and Newry for their lessons. Wherever you are, you are welcome at Belfast Dreams School of Music face to face or online. We are here to help!
Qualified and Experienced Teaching Instruction
Our teachers all have degrees in music and teaching - several with advanced degrees – and their extensive experience with music education will ensure that you and your family receive the best music education in a caring, enthusiastic and supportive environment.
In addition, our advanced online technology is a growing part of the lessons at Belfast Dreams School of Music. Our music school uses keyboards, amps, stereos, multi tracks, an extensive musical library, and a recording technology station for your purpose.
Helping Those Who Need a bit of Extra Help
To support the school and to offer courses at a reduced price for those in Belfast who cannot afford the lessons, we want to provide and are now offering school wearable and household items that will bless you and the people you are supporting in an area, which is still coming out of difficult times. Many thanks for your kindness and support. Best regards, Mick
